I too have used americah truck and trailer a bunch in the past. they are great guys to deal with.
I too have used American Truck and Trailer. I had my Firestone air bags installed there and where I bought my bed saver.

I was there last weekend and saw a sign advertising "Reines RV Center coming soon". I asked one of their worker's why were they moving and he said because they were not making money and it was costing CW more money to stay open than what they were doing in business. Hopefully the new RV Center will carry more RV supplies than CW did.

I bought the low profile Carrier 13.5K (7.5" high) with the heat strip for $489.00 for my 3400RL. With installation I think it came out to about $700.00.

Three years ago we made the switch from TT to 5er. %er definitely has more cabinet, counter, and storage space. I can put all five bikes inside with no problems. 5er is a lot easier to pull and more stable down the road. No more worrying about an 18 wheeler pushing you off the road.

I have a 50 Gallon Transfer flow. The type that I have is an under the cover type. Here is a photo. The transfer flow is fully automatic and is not the cheapest one out there. For another tank check Northern Tool
Have not let it sit that long.

I have the same one. No problems what so ever. Total between aux and main = 90 gallons.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I normally start by looking at RV Parks Review to see what comments have been posted on a particular campground. You can also ask questions in this forum to see if anyone has stayed at a particular campground. When I travel to a long destination (two days or more) I plan my stops in advance and make reservations before I start my trip. That way I know I have a place to stay for the night.
